Are you trying to remove stains ?
Or, do you just want to brighten your leathers up ?
I use Renapur on my leathers, this waterproofs and nourishes, restores there original softness and colour, preserves its looks and extends its life. (It says on the tin ).

For my boots I use Nikwax, This does a similar job and allows the leather to breathe. Availabe from horsey type shops/sadlers.

Has anything changed since 2003, is Renapur still the best thing out there for cleaning leathers? I have acquired some leathers off an ex British Superstock racer and they require a real good clean, loads of rubber and old sticker glue etc on them. Is there anything anyone can recommend above Renapur? s0s:

We always had plenty of leather cleaner in the tack shed, (saddle soap) until some little scrotes broke in & nicked a load of stuff.

Richard,

As you live in Wadhurst I think you should be supporting local business and use Nikwax who are in Wadhurst, Unit F Durgates Industrial Estate, Wadhurst, East Sussex TN5 6DF

Chelsea Leather Food from Busters amongst others. Not a cleaner but a conditioner and waterproofer. Marvellous stuff.
