I was quite looking forward to the Mary Queen of Scots film that came out recently. Then I saw a trailer which included a black actor with a ridiculously inappropriate afro hairstyle playing the part of the English ambassador to the Scottish Court and was put off completely.People of different nations have fought for this country since well before nelson's time & have largely been very poorly treated for their contribution, that is wrong & always has been, their sacrifice should be remembered & honoured
But in this case Fox is completely correct the inclusion of the Sikh soldier in the context of this film is completely out of place & it is fairly obvious that the 'woke' brigade had a large hand in that hats off to him for bringing it to public attention

Talk about ticking the box marked "Is your film embracing diversity no matter what, even if it flies in the face of historical reality".
How about a white actor playing the part of Nelson Mandela, then..? Eh...no. Not allowed, not diversity.
When are these f*ckwits going to learn that altering history to suit their liberal woke agenda will have a price in the future...?
Yarp...The BBC and far too many tv adverts are continually shovelling this so callled pc down your throat.
It's totally wrong, inaccurate and does not one jot assimilate real life.
Let's see a some real tv with Jews and Arabs all sat round the table and playing happy families.
Never gonna happen.
One of the other things that the Beeb do that really fecks me off is when they do a story about British Forces and show footage of Yanks instead.
Try doing that with football teams in the sports news and see how many windows you've got left in the morning.
What a load of tosh.Having a keen interest in
Annoys the feck out of me too, and the way the yank film industry takes a british story then cast yank actors in the starring roles, the great escape springs to mind ................. then they take fictional book such as Reacher where the main character is supposed to be 6'5" tall & cast short arse tom cruise in the lead role totally ruining it

You'll be saying William Wallace aka Braveheart wasn't American next.
I was just about to comment to Bleater that Braveheart was an Aussie.Mel Gibson is an American born Aussie of Scottish descent. And much like the Jack Reacher fiasco, he's far too short to play the real Wallace.
Mel Gibson was born in New York as far as I can see.I was just about to comment to Bleater that Braveheart was an Aussie.
Spike Milligan was born in India.Mel Gibson was born in New York as far as I can see.

If you hadn't been, as ever, so quick to put the boot into me you wouldn't be floundering around trying to get out of your faux pas.Spike Milligan was born in India.
What nationality is he?
