Krauser/general topbox questions

I got a Krauser K5 topbox on the 'bird when I bought it but removed it straight away. I'm doing 4 days in Wales from Friday so I've stuck it back on.

There's a bit of movement between the topbox and the plate. It doesn't seem like it could fall off (I've done some serious yanking) but it does move about 5-10mm and when doing so makes a knock noise which is annoying when riding? Is this normal? I can't see any adjustment etc that can be done. Maybe it'll be better when loaded?

Also since I've never ridden with a loaded top box, is there anything other than watching out for an induced wobble that I need to be aware of?

If you do place some rubber between the box and plate, ensure that the box is locked on securely. I did that with my Givi box, and thought it was on properly. Luckily it was empty when it fell off.

Thanks chaps. It doesn't sound that uncommon for a bit of movement then. I'll see what I can do.
