i have mate,

knox stowaway thing, wear it every day/ride, no problems with comfortable, tad warm last summer, helps keep you warm a bit in the winter.

bonus for you the elasticated waist belt pulls yer gut in , so you would look a lot slimmer!!!!

feck go it a shop try one on, move about , strech this way and that, it you dont like like it give it back.

i agree, the knox stowaway is a belting bit of kit, but bear in mind they have released the new knox richochet, which is a top bit of kit for not much more, it comes in 3 main sizes depending on your height. me for example at 5ft 10 i wear the 8-plate ricochet, it covers my kidneys, top to base of spine and is very comfortable.and a point to consider is knox are also doing the lifetime warranty on these i believe, so if you were unfortunate to have a spill and damage the back protector, if they can't fix it, you get a new one !!!! bloody good deal i think mate.
all the best

Not much use for a replacement back protector in a wheelchair though!!!!!

Seriously though, if its damaged in a spill, chances are you have done some fair damage to your back :dunno:

I always have an internal knox protector in my jacket(s) when riding or pillioning, but when doing a track day I have replaced that with a proper strap on (ooer) back protector.

Knox Back protector

My cousin had a bad bad bike crash a few years ago(wagon pulled out in front of him,Bike disintegrated,he ended up in intensive care)Thankfully he had his leathers on but he still maintains today that the reason he still able to walk is due to the Knox back protector he was wearing,(and by the way he isn't a rep for Knox either). He convinced me anyway, and i now have one.Hardly know your wearing it.Worth every penny!
