Its a 55 plate in Blue...

BLUE CBR1100XX

Hi Adam Johnny Blade here w4lc0m3 and enjoy it put lots of miles on it ignore the weird looks that you will be getting, from the blue oyster fan club. YOU should only ever see red cbr 1100,s at close up range cus there dog slow .

Black and silver will only ever be a blur to you and should you catch one up park well away and admire from a far. ha ha. serious though enjoy.

Had I found a similar Silver one I would have gone Silver, but with an standard bike with just 2,238 miles on it it was a no brainer...

Seems to be quicker than my pervious black 600F so maybe its black underneath, could just be the increase in engine capacity but I don't that has as much to do with it as the colour really

Had I found a similar Silver one I would have gone Silver

Then you'd really have not noticed any difference to the 600.

had a red bird xx, but alas some fool in a car decided to pull out and the rest was history RIP red bird, now have a silver bird xx5, wanted a black one but the price was right, it had all I wanted and most importantly very small milage 4500 so had to buy it. love the bike.w;;v

You show good taste in wanting to repaint a GREEN Bird to natural Black. It'll go faster as well. A take it she's a carbed Bird, so she's gonna be one of the fastest once she's back in black.

Just for you, Wolfie, I shall translate.

Forum membership has expanded to foreign countries (although he obviously forgets such folk as Geoff James in New Zealand and various other foreigners).

As this newbie is in the USA Trig thinks that I should send Hershey Bars or Hershey Kisses, but I'm certain he'd prefer propper UK chocolate.

He also states that everything in the USA is bigger and better than in the UK, but that they don't have a sweetie Goddess over there.

Better?
