About 3 years ago someone on here got ripped off big time for something..

We had the name and address and it was in China Town.

Those that knew the area advised we leave well alone unless we wanted to have a close encounter with some Tong members !

Well I am fairly sure the address then was similar to this one.. A member did a drive by and it was a flat above a shop..

Anyone familiar with this addy or area ?

I quite agree, Jaws. A bit like running a shop for knocked off goods and advertising it as "Stolen Property for sale here..."

However, until Plod decide to get off their fat arses and do something other than send little old ladies to jail for refusing to pay council tax, or trying to get innocent motorists done for drink driving (it's a long, long story) then this type of crime will go unpunished. And unfortunately the longer they get away with it the more they will continue.

The Police say that the problem is that they are under-resourced and have to concentrate their manpower on the offences that are deemed most serious by the Home Office. However this sounds an awful lot like a cop-out (pun intended) to me and is the type of excuse you could hide a lot of inactivity behind. Over to you, Plod.
