Whilst we were on our way from Valencia airport to our holiday villa at Denia (some 90kms away) we were on the Mediteranean highway going south when we saw the Kawasaki motoGP team wagon going north. I flashed the lights/bipped the horn & waved at them, and they very sportingly waved back at us...
I have just heard that they had a major accident further up the route, as their wagon was hit by a very strong crosswind, which turned the vehicle over and blocked the road for some hours...
I have also heard that apart from One guy who had a broken foot, they were all OK...
I would like to say a big "hi" if anyone knows them or can pass on my best wishes to them..

ps... Some 10 or 12 years ago, I was driving a 7.5 tone mercedes delivering beds to north yorkshire, when I got blown over by a strong sidewind... No joking matter... Police attended, and I phoned my boss & told him I had broken the passenger mirror... When he asked how, I said the feckin' wagons lay on top of it...He pissed himself laughin & I kept my job :blush:
