Hi There,
Thought I would say hello, just got a 2001 plate bird, but as it has analogue dials would assume last of 2000 possibly.

Have had a number of bikes and even italian scooters over the yearsh1d1ng2

Had a five year sabbatical from two wheels, then after being cajoled by a newbie biker at work bought a cruiser last year
Well that rekindled the spark enough to get rid of the cruiser and get a bird.

She may be recognised/belonged by/to someone on here, she's RED, has the B.I.R.D tank protector and various bits such as bar risers, fenda extenda, hugger, full Givi rack and luggage :-0)

She started life in Cumbria before finding her way North to God's Country. Will stick on a picture, once I know how.

Warning-I don't intend on coming on here and getting the urine extracted, if that does happen, I will tell my mum

Welcome Mr McMuckles, you're in good company, and even better riding roads... definitely found a BIRD bird. Has it had a6mm spacer fitted above the rear shock, If with bike on centre stand/flat ground, there'll be very little clearance between wheel and ground. Not fitted there'll be about 25/30mm. If fitted it'll improve turn in no end.

My guess is most of the tech mods are from our Mr Jaws Motorcycles.

I will check for the spacer, me thinks that most of the mods came from Jaws@tu*

Its not to far Doune the road from you

For those that don't known the landmark-
It's the Sir Colonel David Stirling statue on the road into Doune near Dunblane.

Sir Colonel David Stirling being the founder of the Special Air Service (SAS)

For every negative there is a positive,
1. When your nose is red with the cold it matches the bike.
2. Great roads, stunning views, lots of clean air to breathe in and deep
fried food to eat.
3.If of no use on the bird, it would make a fine dog poop scoop

Fooked or Not, I like it:-0)

If its black, should it really be a hackney cab:dunno:
