As I asked eariler about wheels, whilst looking through ebay at them, some showed the bike that was being broken.
One was a 96 model.
So the thought went through my head, 'I wonder if it's one of THE early ones'!

So still thinking about that I wondered what the magical part that made the difference was.

So, is it just an ECU change that would make the difference?

its always been kept quiet as to what the difference are, but I do know...
Different inlet manifold rubbers ( later ones easily modified to make right )
CDI unit ( NOT ecu as they aint got one :) )
Anyone breaking a pre 600 frame number would want their bumps felt
Even a really rough, falling apart one is worth a fortune
