Daughter brought car for recall check.
It took from 9.30 until 5.30 to get it checked and a replacement car sorted.

When I brought her to get other car she was told it would take 6 WEEKS to get part. They gave her a garage car because they didn't get hire car sourced in time.

A crankcase valve, I think, seems it can go on fire.

The hire car will be a Skoda Fabia:eek::eek::eek:
This makes her very happy:rolleyes:

Apparently Fiesta is the standard offer.
She's fighting the case so I don't know where it's at.
Insult to injury.

Took 2 months to get a replacement passenger door for our Vitara. then another week for it to be painted and fitted.
There wasn't a single bare metal Vitara passenger door in the whole of feckin' Europe FFS. :BangHead:

Lucky girl. It could be worse. Due to a cock up on road tax by the dealer when I was supposed to be picking my BMW up they needed to provide me with a courtesy car. I got a Mini Cooper S..

Useless pile of poo, not the best for a 6'2" lump with impeccable taste.

I a similar experience with a bike main dealer, dropped my bike in for major work because I didn't have time & their loan bike was a superdream of all things

Sod that I thought I brought in 6 grands of bike in & I'm not riding away on 6 quids worth & told them so, after much argument which included me saying I could always go elsewhere I rode away on a brand new demonstrator with 4 miles on the clock & thrashed the tits off it for a week :D

My Octavia vRS was awesome. Then again, it had a big, grunty, diesel up front, so no surprises there. Only thing that stopped us buying new Skodas was the useless twats of a dealership in Maidstone.

I remember once being given a 250 Superdream with a Rickman fairing, as a courtesy bike. It was hard pushed to see off C90's and scary as hell on the motorway.

I'm too young to remember those.

No, Honda Superscreams :p

The Dream Twin was marginally better than the Superdream. Either way you're right...they did make you scream. Mostly...."where's the feckin' power....?!". :D
