Picture this, A mate says he has won a holiday for 4, he then invites me & Lorna:yo:, trouble is don;t know the dates or place until 1 week before we go,,could be Spain ,Tenerife or Portugal.
This was Xmas time,, anyway got the dates & the place was Malaga,, we thought yep that will do,, didn't think anything more about it.
We arrived at Malaga airport, sorted a car out & drove to our diggs, had a few beers watching the box & saw the replay of the Japan moto GP, and thats when the penny dropped, Jerez moto GP the following weekend:yo::-0) bleedin hell we were only 120 miles away,,so we had to do it didn't we.
What a cracking track, location, weather phookin brill.
So Jon & Anya,, thankyou very much for inviting us, it was a great & very welcome cheap break away from home & work, & Jerez was the cherry on the cake.!!
As for the Hire car ,, I wonder if Benny (hire man) has ever found it in the car park,, LOL.
some pics.

Still kickin' it!
Hi Mark - looks like you were at the "Curva Michelin". We walked right through that area on our ?Saturday Safari? before qualifying. We should have entered the circuit at gate one ? but went in at gate three, in error. No matter, that gave us the opportunity to have a quick look around before walking to our seats between "Curva Peluqui" and "Curva Alex Criville". It?s a great track and the racing was the best we?ve seen for ages. Roll on, Le Mans!! :-0)
