The Midlands hosted the great weekend rideout, with Birds from as far as the dark wilderness of Bolton, Rochdale,Bradford etc all gathering at Worcester to meet and enjoy each others company.
We all met at the Three Pears P H to enjoy a liquid start to the day.We then left for Badger Dave's house (all 20 of us) for a spot of food and more drink.Many thanks to Dave & Yvonne for being such great hosts!!
Our journey was to take us around Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water etc,but after 15 minutes our party seemed to lose one another & ended up being three separate groups chasing one another round the countryside - thank god for mobile phones!!!!!!!The weather didn't help much either as it seemed like the sun was either side of us & we had the dark clouds & showers to go with it.We finally found one another at the scenic view at Birdlip.After another drinks stop we returned to Badger Dave's house and tucked into fish & chips and the odd alcoholic beverage.A good night was had by all!
Sunday started with a wonderful breakfast (bacon & sausage butties - no eggs I'm afraid, we don't do eggs) at Rolfy Dave's house.Thanks to Jan & also to Suzie for making sure everyone was served (hope you didn't eat all the leftover sausages Suzie & you got the washing up done in time).Only 12 bikes today, but at least we didn't lose anyone.The weather was ideal for biking & the roads to match.After a short stop at Craven Arms & another at Llandrindod Wells, it was on to the Hundred House at Builth Wells for an absolutely superb meal.Thanks for the organisation Rolfy Dave - even though you thought it was the wrong pub, but didn't you enjoy the 'porno' pictures on the wall!!The ride finished at Badger Dave's house with Yvonne again supplying the tea & coffee (next time get your leathers on Yvonne & come & join us!)
