I think its a little early for news mate...
Al was due to go to theatre at 11.00am.. from personel experience there is often a short delay, so it could have been any time up to 12ish..
The operation will take between 6 and 8 hours ( a guess you understand, but once again, drawn from personel experience ).
Once out of theatre they will most likely leave him to sleep for approx 4 or 5 hours.. After that time if he has not woken up himself they will wake him and run checks....
We must also remember that b may well not feel like communicating with anyone until Al is out of the woods ( and I will say here and now that I have every confidence that he will be fine )..
Be patient chaps and chappets.. Good news is ALWAYS worth waiting for !

Hi guys....
Having spoken to Bridget this morning over the phone at about 10 O clock. The latest on Al, is that he went into hospital at 11 O clock on saturday morning..... He has had a load of tests and scans done, but the doctors say that, at the earliest, they will operate on Tuesday, and at the latest it will be Thursday.
We have passed on all the best wishes from everyone on the forum, and told Bridget that all our thoughts and prayers are still with them both.
At DB's party last night, the Midlands Massiff have put a get well card together for Al, which we will try to get over to him in the next day or so...But we will keep you informed of any news or developments...
Keep the postings going on the AL & Bridget thread, and we will print it off so they can see that we are all behind them 100%.
