The manor house (Cricket St Thomas) used in To the Manor Born was also the location of Noel Edmond’s massively misjudged and massively unsuccessful Blobby World.
Some very significant archaeological finds in and around Kilmartin Glen. My grandad is buried within sight of those markings.

The Nursery rhyme Humpty Dumpty despite popular belief about it referring to King Dick three actually refers to a large cannon in the English civil war, it was used by the Kings me to bombard the Parliamentarians without much success, the Parliamentarians then used their own cannons to destroy the wall that Humpty Dumpty was on causing the cannon to fall & break leading to victory for the Parli….not the Kings men.
Thus the origin of "heart burn"
