More professional and morally responsible firms are beginning to Appear as a result of the resulting gaps in the market. In the long term better for everybody.

You may think or know that is the case in respect of finance, but in personal injury law it will result in more and more injured riders being short changed and placed on the conveyor belt so that they kicked out the other end as quickly as possible, rather than fighting their corner and getting the compensation they deserve.

I am worried about what will happen in the next few years. We have already lost something like 70% of personal injury law firms, and whilst there may be those that applaud, it is often the good firms that have closed down because of the new regulations which means that the cowboys who don't give a shit are stepping in and taking over until they get found out,

Well, it’s coming up for renewal time for me and Admiral have just put my policy up on my Panzer wagon to over £700, which is £121 up on last year’s premium. Why? Um, because they can. I phoned to tell them to shove it because I could get it elsewhere for a lot less and they then said that they wouldn’t want to lose me over price. Best they could do was reduce to £560, which is still too much based on me having previously shopped around. I told them I’d think about it and left it there. Twenty minutes later, I paid just over £480 with LV and my compulsory excess is £250 less. Job done. Oh, and the call handler told me I’d had an 11p discount for having front and rear facing dash cams.

I can't remember how much I paid last time but it started with a '2' through Hastings Direct. Presumably yo have business use so that bumps it up?

Yep, class 1 business use, which does add a few quid. Mrs P is also on there as a named driver but she had a non-fault claim back in ‘16 when an idiot fox tried legging it across the M25 whilst stopping to pick a fight with Mrs P’s Hyundai. That knocks it up a bit too.

Shouldn't be that much. I have business use as well and it increased my remium last year by £8 which I didn't think was too bad.
