Had a call this evening from my bike insurer Swinton Bike.
They reminded me that my insurance for both bikes will run out end of October and can they do a new quote. :dunno:
Told them to ring me back in an hour, then did some shopping about......
Spent almost an hour 'negotiating' with the girl when she did ring back.
Ended up with insurance for the Bird for ?53.00 :-0)
Unfortunately, the insurance for the work bike (ST1300) is ?230.40 :cry:
Business class (they seem to think instructors are a high risk), breakdown cover, F/Comp, like for like loan bike if mine is not usable after an off. kit and all the other crap stuff.
Works out I'm now with the same company, but paying ?104 less than last year for better cover.d34l
Off to bed now, bloody exhausted.
