Nope, just general racket.

Gawd only knows what Slash was doing, his solo was totally unrelated from what the rest of the band were doing.

If you want to talk to me about bass guitar I would start off with Mark King. Very underrated artiste in my view.

Oh yes!..Reinvented the slap bass style, a true pro muscician..works extremely hard to be different from the mainstream bass players.(y)

Another one from a current advert, absolute classic though. RIP Ronnie, legend.

Quite pleasant viewing this version as well!

Do you know what the woman on the right was playing????
Don't know what it's called but she is one of The Corrs and it features heavily in their stuff.

Take a look at this and admire. And how the hell does the other one manage to breathe while playing the whistley flutey recordery thing.

That's now inn me edd!!

Go home and ask yer wife.
It's a tin whistle. Even I can play a few tunes on it, been a long time though.

The other thing is a bodhrán, pronounced bowrawn - bow as lean forward.

And if you think it's easy, try it!!

It's suggested it came from N Africa.
There was a lot of trade with south west Ireland and N Africa once.
Lots of wild fuchsia in west cork which is alleged to have been brought in from abroad.

We’ve been watching the re-run of “This Life”, a brilliant series first screened
in the eighties and still an excellent choice today - at least, Inn MY Edd. :p
