Ingenious gadgets

Who elso has found themselves an ingeniuos little gadget or something really simple that cures a problem?

My latest....Well I don't have a garage, living humbly as I do in the converted servants quarters of a old Hall. (thats HALL as in House not hall as in hallway for those potential smart alecs!) and I keep my 'Bird in a horse box. I don't have electricity out to the box and keeping my battery in good nick has been a problem....until recently.

I bought a solar trickle charger, put it on the roof of the box, connected a cigarette lighter conection to the battery and now just plug it in every time I put the bike away. Prolem solved. Cost ?14.99 (in sale from Maplins) NEAT.

Any other tips and tricks? (thats tiPs Slobbo and not tricks as you know them!)

Ears, too harsh for teeth, I prefer a cocktail stick for teeth
precision screwdrivers are good for ears as well. As for nose you can't beat a finger
