Went for a meal yesterday with our ex neighbours, they handed me a letter that was delivered to our old address, it was from the over payment payroll dept of noms (prison pension) stating that due to not replying to the two previous letters re an over payment in the year 2020/21 they were instructing a Solicitor, I have emailed them pointing out that I notified them of change of address almost three years ago & they received the notification as they send my pension statements to my current address.
I have no idea where they get the idea that I’ve been overpaid as it is their job to ensure I get the correct amount, might ring them up on Monday & let them know how useless they are, if zi have been overpaid somewhere along the line I’ll agree to pay £1 a Month as I’m just a poor pensioner now.
