Hello Everyone
Just a quick spot of news from Salty Kev the Seadog. Just caught up with news after a month at sea and good to read all the goings on back in dear old Blighty. Sorry to hear about the 'offs' but hope recoveries are well on the way. Out here in Dubai you are more likely to be 'offed' by a mad taxi (or other) driver than oil patches, ice or greasy watery bits. Thinking of hiring a Harley Ferguson for the day next time in (OK I was only thinking of it!) - but not sure I would survive the driving. The place is full of Schumackers in Mondeos (bit like London I suppose) only it is hotter here. Average temeprature 35 C at the moment and due to get up to 45 C by June - and thats in the shade. Looking forward to getting back to lazing past UK traffic jams and joining in wherever possible for the year when I get back in July. Sorry will miss the bash this year but the Devon Weekend from 9 - 11 Sept is very definitely ON. Any way that we would want to make this the end of season bash or is it too early?? Well, we are back off to sea tomorrow for three weeks to supply fuel to the masses and to keep an eye on the bad guys out here. In the meantime I wish you all safe riding and look forward to meeting up again in the Summer.
