Hi folks

I am looking into getting some end cans for my bird (the bike not the wife). Unfortunately I dont have the luxury of choosing which ever ones I want due to cost. However, I have found some secondhand options and wondered what your thoughts were on these.
I have seen a set of Scorpion (oval carbon fibre), Remus (oval titanium) and Quill cans. Should I avoid any of these like the plague or should they be ok for my bike (02).
Alternatively if any of you guys are selling a set of end cans I would be interested in a look.

I am not getting the cans for performance reasons as the bike is plenty fast enough. It is purely for the great sound. However, a mate of mine told me that just putting cans on a fuel injected bike might hinder performance and that I might need an extra thingamy jig to sort it out. Is this the case???????????????

Absolutely any advice is appreciated. :h

I put a set of Quills on my 98 Bird and have been well impressed, not only are they legal but they sound great too, not too loud to piss everyone off but a nice deep throaty roar.

Would definately recommend them but I'm sure the others will be arguing their cases too !!

thanks Russ

They look good. Other than the fact the ones I am looking at are a matt finish I think they are much the same.
Did you have to make any other modifications to the bike eg power commander etc.

Nah, mines a carb'd birdy but I believe it doesn't effect the injected ones much, I would think Uncle Jaws would know better then me though.
These cans cured the flat spot the carb'd birds suffer from so it was good eood enough for me, especially with them being legal, I am still waiting to be pulled up by plod to check them out, I just want to show him the nice shiney Kitemark ! man8um
