I love biking. I love long distance touring, I love enjoying the sometime breathtaking scenery which I wouldn't even spot if I was in a car, I love physically feeling the scenery with my body, I love feeling the wind, I love commuting at city speed in London, I love thrashing and leaning in the twisties within my own humble limits while pushing them when safe, I love long motorway journeys, I love riding in the sun, in the rain, even a hurricane once (although I shat myself senseless), I love watching skillful people doing stuff I can't do, I love help people with stuff I learnt, I love riding with other bikers, I love riding alone, I love gearing up prior to travelling, I love arriving feeling physically tired but happy, I love the community feeling because it's still there despite what some bitter people say, I love the support I received when I needed it, I love giving support when I can, I love biking despite the fact I can die from it - and almost died from it few times, and will continue to enjoy it until I physically can't anymore or die from it. I love biking.

I just felt like posting what's biking for me - basically as soon as I sit on my bike I love it, whatever I do on it... Lumpy fuck you you lardie brain, I am a genuinely nice guy when I take my pills... Bert you retard, valium is so 80s, who needs Valium when you have Neurontin? Down side is you want to shoot yourself but beside this minor detail it makes you even more a zombie than Valium - although in your case you're sedate enough as it is... w;;v

Got that feeling myself, today. Got the CBR600 out and had a thrash round the airfield.

Grin-making stuff after the 125, and a bloody sight easier to handle. Shame I can't take it on the road yet :bang: :bang:

Thanks for those sentiments Pierre, I shall try to reflect on them when I'm heading down la belle France at the end of the week with the missus on the back and my son and his mate on their bikes. Can't bloody wait!

Vive l'oiseau noir!

you're welcome mate - you'll enjoy la Belle France - just remember when you're approaching motorway tolls (if you do motorways) to slow down to legal speed far ahead of them, as cops often wait there with a speed gun that can catch you from far... Be safe there and have it large

Bike now sorted thanks Ian. Turned out to be a couple of bolts that had worked loose, so they sorted it out whilst fitting the new Avons. Four more days of work and off to Porstmouth Friday evening for the ferry. Can't wait :yo:

Well thing is, if you just write 'I love biking' some will read 'I love thrashing it in the twisties' or 'I love long distance touring' or 'I love the acceleration-buzz factor' or 'I love posing with my black mean machine' or... whatever! Me I love all of these so... conandrun!! What do I choose as a plate quote? :h
