When I went to France last week I had sprained the thumb on my left hand which made clutch operation very painful. I have never been one for clutchless changes but felt I would have to give it a go.
By the end of the trip I was happily shifting up and down the box without the clutch.

What happened to you that had a lasting effect on your riding?

Bought a brand new BMW R100 in the eighties. Took it home and my brother said " can I have a go". Set off, hit his leg on the left hand pot, panicked and fell off! 6 miles old. Bollocks!!
I have never let anyone have a go on any of my bikes since.
