I checked my BA shares yesterday and I think they’re down by two thirds. I bought them just after 9/11 so they’re still pretty much double what I paid for them.

No they don't, the buggers are making it difficult for me to get a refund for a trip to New York, their website directs you to a voucher for future travel even though you click on the refund button.
