I have just had damn good service from 'Honda UK' and especially 'Michelle Hill' the customer services manager..
Back in December i had my Honda heated grips fail, i went to my local dealer 'HUNTS' :loo: of Manchester who did not want to know as they didn't fit them :dunno: ..
Anyway, i contacted Honda UK and they asked me to send the knackered grip back to inspect the fault and also send a print out from the BIRD site where other folks have encountered problems.
Honda are now aware of the failures that occurr with their heated grips and said they are prepared to 'investigate', they still have my old grip to carry out a post mortem.
This morning (while i was at WORK :eek: ) a package from Honda arrived and contained a brand new set of heated grips FOC :bow: :bow: to Honda.

Result: maybe companies are at last learning that they cannot fob customers off with shoddy goods, and it is better for them to lose a few quid here and there rather than thousands in the long run.

This really is something a lot more special than perhaps peeps are realising.

How many YEARS have we put up with total crap and shite from Honda UK ?
Could this be an indication that at last we are to be recognised as customers and not 2nd class low lifes who are a bit of a nuisance ?

Heres hoping !!
Well done to you John for bringing what may be a milestone marker to our attention.

I think it was the way i dealt with it John. I explained that i had a problem and sent some proof of the problems existence, i kept regular contact rather than let it go sour for weeks on end.
I was only expecting 1 grip at the most and to get a comp new set i was gobsmacked, very nice to deal with and very customer focussed.

Well done that man, particularly for giving me a rather cunning idea. How about we start a thread here complaining of our brand new Ferrari's dissapearing. Despite the fact that they were locked up in a bomb proof garage. I'll then phone Ferrari and complain, print out a copy of the thread, then we'll all get free ferrari's. Wotdyareckon?

We needn't keep the cars, we could all sell them and buy lots of beer and expensive wimmin :yo:
