Most of the dealerships that I have encountered have been poor to say the best. I have just found one that that bends over backwards to help its customers. V J SUPERBIKES
When I bought my present Bird it had OE heated grips on it so I was both surprised and pissed off when they packed up especially as the problem was fractured wires as they came out of the grip. Sutton Motorcycles in Birmingham who I bought it from were not able to help other than to sell me a whole new set for ?180. Later that week 1200 Pete told me to contact VJ superbikes because they could sell me just the part not the whole setup. I phoned them and they sorted out a left grip which arrived 3 days later. Eight months later the soddin thing goes again in the same place. So armed with the reciept I went to Sutton Honda and again they couldnt do anything they said that the part only had 6 months warranty they even phoned HONDA and confirmed it, but they could help me by selling me a new set for ?180.
After walking out I contacted VJ SUPERBIKES and told them about the problem, within a few mins they had confirmed that a new one would be in the post as soon as honda sent it to them and could I send the old one back.They phoned a week ago on monday to tell me it had been sent and when to expect it. Unfortunately the couriers took it to the wrong address so when it didnt come at the due time I contacted VJ Superbikes they chased it and the couriers, I must have had at least 15 calls to let me know what was going on, they always rang back when they said they would and apologised for the delay even though it was not their fault.
Today the grip arrived so I have had hot toasty hands. It is nice to know that there are HONDA dealerships out there that do put customer satisfaction at the top of their agenda and I would reccomend them to all of you guys. I just wish that they were in Birmingham.

The bloke who is in charge of parts (nick?) is just about to get a new mat black blackbird so we may soon see him on here. :beer: :beer: :beer:
