Hi folks, and a quick Q for the Mods/Admins

Hi All,

I've got a quick Q regarding something I'd like to post/share with you regarding a new motorcycle-specific route builder we're building, but would rather run it past a Mod/Admin first to make sure I'm not breaking any forum rules or treading on toes.

Could someone please drop me a quick reply/PM and I'll send you the details?

Cheers & all the best,
James @ MotoGoLoco

Thanks for the mail James... As the product will hopefully be to all bikers advantage I have absolutely no problem with you posting info and asking for volunteers to assist

I wish you all the best with the project @tu*

Thanks Jaws, much appreciated mate!

So, 'Hi folks!'

We've been working on building a new, bike specific route builder over the past few months. The BETA version went live a week or so ago, and we'd very much like some testers and guinea pigs to try it out, break it and generally let us know how you got on with it please.

Any volunteers?

> MotogoLoco route builder is here

> Feedback / comments link is here

There are a couple of bugs we already know about and are working on fixes for, but we really want 'this worked, this didn't, I liked this, I hated that' stuff from guys who are used to working with the other tools that are out there (Google/MapSource/Basecamp etc).

That said, if you've never used a route planner / GPS before, we'd also love to know how you got on with it too.

Oh, it's also worth me mentioning that there's a wee prize draw on the go for this too, basically everyone who submits feedback (good or bad - we want it all!) is entered into a draw to win a free trip away at any of the hotels or B&B's we've got listed in our biker-friendly accommodation listings.

Thanks in advance, best of luck and over to you!

Cheers

We'd love to know what you think, and how you find using it.

All the best,

Nice to see someone giving to the community, rather than just taking from it, approached the Admin and did stuff the right way, @tu* I'll be having a word with my Garmin Guru "Yvonne" and get her opinions of this planner!! :-0)

MotoGoLoco Maps - v3 now LIVE

Afternoon dudes & dudettes,

Well, that's been a quick 8 months! After several rounds of scrutinous testing and tweaking, we recently launched the latest update to MotoGoLoco Maps - our free journey planning tool and online routes library.

I could fill a thread up listing everything we've added, changed, tweaked, twiddled and removed (if you're really interested, I did just that in this blog post), but ultimately the aim of the game was to make things easier, smoother and less clunky. We think we've nailed it, and so far the feedback has been fantastically positive.

If anyone here fancies giving it a wee go and letting me know your thoughts, I'd be eternally and continually grateful as ever. Much of what's been worked on so far came about via feedback from folks on bike forums - including this one - so I hope you believe me when I promise that we really are listening.

Hope you like it!

Cheers & all the best,
James M
