My name is Jerry and I have a 1997 Turbo Blackbird.
Welcome Jerry with the 1997 turbo Blackbird.
May I extend my sympathy.
Looks fantastic.... Can I ask what turbo has been fitted ?
Was it a kit or something you put together your self ?
What boost are you running ?
Hi Jerry, My name is Jerry and my 'Bird' doesn't have a turbo a know of!
A turbo bird on stock brakes now that's scary
My mate runs a turbo at 230rwbhp (at the last count) he doesn't like the fuel consumption much
Jaws, I got the exhaust manifold, boost hat for intake and the intercooler from Graham over in the UK. Chinese turbo that's lasting a good long time. I put it together my self and then took over to a guy here to dyno tune it. 217hp on 7lbs of boost 12lbs of boost enough
Nice to meet you Jerry, Mine didn't have one either I had to buy it......
At my time a life a non-turbo 'Bird' is fast enough!
Any my time of life a Honda Cub is fast enough.
Not a very pleasant lot as I'm sure you are discovering.
Lots of information here though.
Just don't put up a picture of anything in front of your house!!!
Gardening and DIY experts here also
What! I thought someone would have spotted the crack in the floor under the bike sooner!!
Well it's a heavy bike..... heavier with turbo.
What's the axle stand for beside the box with BALLS on it
Stranger still why has the 'Balls' box been fitted with handlebars?
That is excellent and well put together..
What is the turbo lag like ?
I'm far too polite to have pointed it out.
What have you done with the real Mr. Beaker?
Boost starts right around 2700 rpm. Small turbo=fast spool.
That's alright I'm thick skinned. The "Balls" tool box is actually Chicago Bulls, basketball.
Blimey ! That is incredibly low..
What was the difference between 7 lb and 12 lbs of boost ??
Oh come on, is no one going to say 5 lbs?
I'll get me coat.
