Meeting Up

I have no idea which way to go !!! So it would be good to meet up and ride with you - at least then if it rains I won't be on my own!!!!!! Let me know when and where?!!

:neenaw:
Well I reckon if the others are meeting in Shropshire at 10.30 and taking the long way round to Abergavenny, we'll need to be there by 11.30(probably a bit early, unless they are caning it a bit), soooooo if you wanna meet up with us around 10.00-10.30 at Junction 12 on the M5 we can make our way over to the bus stop (abergavenny) and have a cuppa while we wait for the others.Anyone else in the area is welcome too. At the moment it'll be me (on my 'bird') and a coupla mates, one on a Triumph Sprint and another on a 748 (he's a bit of a masochistc7u8)

Excellent - I reckon I can find J12 on the M5 :yo: and even get there by 10am, as long as I remember to go to north as I join, or is it south? :bang: h1d1ng2 !!!!!

I'll be there - might possibly find some non-Bird riders to come along, but prob just me from here! :neenaw:

Will be working out a route this weekend hopefully.
I'll post it in plenty of time.

The pace will be steady to moderate as per previous rides with BIRD.
Not as professional as Quiney & Clives 'Clogger' events but fun all the same i hope.

Its an open invitation to ALL.........past and present even 'FB' if he wishes to come along. fl4g71

I am supposed to be working that weekend but I rekon I can get the time off.

Morag has given me a free pass for the weekend:-: While she will stay home with the kids.

Ill go to Barrie's on Sat night and meet up on the sun morning.

So, all being well, you'll have a slow red Pan to contend with & keep the speed down:rolleyes:

Good one..
I will most likely be ok to ride distance by then, I dont know that area very well, but if you tell me a spot, I will meet you at it (err.. if the Garmin tells the truth
 ) subject to a postcode.

Murt.
Look forward to meeting you again Steve. Could meet at the "Truck Stop" cafe just outside Whitchurch. Neil is coming down fron Scotland on his new steed,ST1100, but it's a slow red one.h1d1ng2

The pace won't be FAST, it will be enjoyable..... Anyway, we'll all be aware of where we are going and if we turn off then someone will wait at the junction.

I would recommend everyone takes their own map anyway or GPS just in case.
I will give out a mobile number on the days leading upto the meet and for the day, should anyone need to contact me.

After discussion with a few people wishing to attend the ride it has been decided that the GROUP RIDE will be circa 150-170 miles, the route has altered slightly to accomodate this and we will be going from Monmouth across to Abergaveny on the A40 NOT down as far as Chepstow.

The ride WILL take in the Black Mountains still and terminate around the Craven Arms as planned.

Those wishing to meet up en route please let me know roughly where and when after i put up the altered route..
I do intend to be in Abergaveny around 1 'o' clock ish for lunch..

The slight reduction in miles will accomodate those from further North than myself i.e Neil, Barry and hopefully some others g0551p (hope you can make it folks, be good to see you again).

w;;v Smix, sounds good to me but going by Rhinos posts he's not looking at getting to Abergavenny until one ish; so I think if you meet us at junction 12 at 10.30-10.45 that'll give us plenty of time for a steady ride over :yo:

dayglo will NOT now be joining your Run...as he is doing the decent thing and coming out on the IXXRA Rideout all over Wales and back again...so if you see a blur and feela rush of air do not fret...it's just the IXXRA Rideout passing....

Come on - no one would let him loose with 'The Plot' - he may have had 'A Plot' once, but I'm sure it was just borrowed and the real owner has taken it back now!!!!!!!!!!!!
