Do you have any big charity warehouses near you? We have a Help,the Aged place near us, has tons of outdated electrical equipment. I'll have a look next time I am down that way and see if they can match your needs.
Might even pick up an eight tracker player, minidisc player, 8mm cine camera and Betamax video recorder while I am there.
As an aside, I could never understand why minimdisc never really caught on. At the time it seemed like a good solution.
