Just wanted to say hi to everyone. Seems like a good (if slightly strange) bunch of people here.

I'm just off to pick up my Blackbird from Bristol.

Brought a ZX9 2 months ago after 5 yers away, and have managed to clock up over 4,000 miles on it, half of which have had the better half on the back, so have decided to buy something a little more comfy for touring, so now looking forward to getting the Bird.

2001 model in Black with only 7,500 mile on the clock.

will post some pictures over the weekend.

Regards

Si:neenaw:

Blue is that not a bit of a girlie colour sort that suits a Pug 206 CC

Well impress with the BB only thing I have found not sure if it's me or the bike, that at slow speeds, the bumps in the wonderfully maintained roads round here cause me to unexpectedly blip the throttle.

Spent half the day sorting out a base for a new shed now I have 2 bike in the garage.

It?s now got the thumbs up form the better half that no long gets a numb bum!!

All I need to do now is Tax it on the 1st then I can start using it properly!!!

Thanks for all the messages.

You might find that until you get used to it u end up holding the throttle a bit too tight - that's what I did until I relaxed with it and every bump blips the throttle...... makes it interesting though !!
