if i can work out how to add the pic this is my blackbird, (the pic from the add i bought it from.
Its very likley the last time it will be that clean
There seems to be some amusement going on about bike colours. So to fan the flames i only bought my one for the colour lol
Im mot much of a poster, more a listener so hi to all and a happy new year.
ps i may eventually post

Dead right jono oddly enough it was a similar colour of red. lol
Im afraid to post what happened the day after i got the bike incase the poor bloke i bought it from is on the site, he was patting it goodbye.
I was looking for a bike for next year online (this year now) when i saw this mint 18000 mile red bird. being impulsive i drove from Aberdeenshire to Warrington in the pouring rain with a trailer to pick it up. never even rode it it was so tidy. Strapped it with great care onto the trailer and drove home.
Next day i finished work while it was still light. My eldest daughter has a bike too so i offered her a pillion on the new bike.
toodled along for 3 miles. turned left at walking pace onto a patch of OIL, front wheel lost grip instantly and down we went,
scraped through the left engine casing. bent lever, scraped faring.
the only good thing was the cracking service i got from the nice bloke in jaws.

Welcome to the bird nest, RED and you damaged it first time out :bang:, you should have started with an easier to ride colour as it was your first bird, RED one's can be a bit of a handfull. Our resident riding God Lumpy san started on other lesser colours, and even now has only just progressed to an imaginary RED one.

Serious chap, really feel for you, hope you get it sorted soon brok3. Hopefully we'll meet at the 2010 Scottish Bash at Fyvie.

oh aye she is all fixed, just waiting for the side panel to come back from the painter and the salt to go off the roads then its all go. untill then the vfr will do. diddnt even get time to get the feel of the blackbird appart from its good for 95 in 2nd, lol
