Dubai IS western!! There are more expats here in Dubai than locals! Most of England has moved here, as well as South Africa & Australia!!

The local Emirates people (called Emirati's) are very nice, compared to the Saudis. They are far more 'westernised' and understand the way the world works........

The ruling family of Dubai is very forward-thinking and although this is still a Kingdom (of sorts), it is run on very democratic lines. You could say that this is the most benelovent autocrasy in the world! Kinda like Monaco in the desert.

The UAE is a great place to live :yo:
