There are one or two sig blocks ( one in particular ) that are somewhat large..
Now it is all well and good for us users having the option to turn things off, but the casual browser is not gonna bother.. and we are using a huge bandwidth on here which, after all is said and done, the sponsors of this fine forum are ultimately paying for !

If you're a Mozilla Firefox user, there's an easier way. Right click an image and choose the "Block Images from " option. Obviously mind which ones you do this on as you could end up blocking all the smilies too.

The result is you get to see everyone else's witty signatures but not a big image that you were on about.

There's probably an equivalent thing in Internet Exploder?

Yes Alison, 100% right, but to notice that you need to do what you did, actually look before making statements!!!
Now, even if I was hosting those pix here: when you buy bandwidth for a website you buy a package which gives you 'up to' whatever every month - and I assume that for a forum like this one me hosting my pix here or not would make much change to the package bought.
Besides, my sig pix are funny, entertain people who don't take themselves too seriously, and let's face it - you might have to scroll down the page to past my posts but I have to open some posts only to discover an utterly boring and inane content written by inbred mongs. Bottom line, freedom to all to post what they want - and you can use those handy forum features as suggested by Sam! w;;v
