still cant see the benefit of travelling with them on and being unable to show following vehicles that you intend changing direction!! :dunno:

If I need to show a direction change then I flick the switch and normal indicator function resumes :dunno:

Think this demonstrates the correct technique for filtering with yer horn

Was filtering down the M6 today and used my hazzards...it was just like the red sea.

I particularly like the use of revving the engine to assist the horn (plus the odd scream)

the hazards and headlight theory is that they make the triangle, which most peeps see and recognise straightaway, hence why i have my two led lamps on all the time, and yes you can see them against the hids.

now to be see even better why not have the indicators on all the time ie not flashing but on and when you which to turn one will flash. My gpx 750 had them. Brighter than normal bulbs as well. On the Bird with its indicators in the mirrors i reckon that would be a seen look.

But even with my two leds lamps and hids and dayglo bits on jacket, a white lid, reflective bits of bike and me, the fuckers still try to kill me at least twice a week, by pulling out in front of me whilst i am on the roundabouts.

no shit sherlock. I speed sometimes as well to so if you can post that section I can read that too, then the bit about wheelying (I know that's illegal the plod were most upset)

I'll do whatever it takes to make my passage safe. I use, and will continue using, indicators while filtering between lanes on the motorways at speeds of up to 20mph. I tend not to filter if traffic is moving quicker than that, I I do the hazards are used then too. And for parking sometimes to protect a stranded motorist, and to warn traffic behind that I am braking into near stationary traffic.

That was my point - I was agreeing with you, but pointing out it's actually LEGAL to use them in the circs others (TinyTim mainly) was using as an example of moving use 'ignored by plod' - that'll be cos its not illegal then.

Personally, I'll use them whenever it makes me safer... same as you.

Apart from the LED's, I'm the same, and they have a go at me on a daily basis. And not just on roundabouts.

yet strange though as it is, they dont on the sv normal standard lights, apart from the bright blue led side lights h1d1ng2. and they all pull over more and quicker when i am coming up behind them.

i have a feeling they reckon i might be plod on that bike.:dunno::dunno:
