Happy new year Darren and every one else too..
My year could have been worse.. progress from the stroke is good, I found out I can still ride 7-800 miles in a day without sweat, and I got both the old workshops cleared ....
Got the camera ( make ) that I have wanted for 55 years, abut of course this one is bang up to date .... got some good use from my drone too
Woman has decided she wants to give up driving so I am selling her Smart car.. which is a bit of a downer but thats life too
Dillon has been great, and has kept us entertained all year !
Had a great spring and summer travelling and looking forward to doing a lot of it again this coming year

Why do parents smile on benignly when their 30 year old daughter bores the arse off everyone at the New Years dinner table by going through their holiday photos one by one.
Bored me to tears. Got my own back later with a semi decent rendition of Smoke on the Water on my mate's Stratocaster that he has never learned to play though. Nice Marshall amp. Very nice in fact.

Mixed year for us, absolute shit for youngest daughter & it looks like this year could be as bad with the divorce looming, it’s the uncertainty of the settlement.
For us this year could see us hopefully obtaining planning permission & having a house built on our land, that would give us a couple of options, rent our current house out or sell it & split some cash between our two daughters.

Our 2019 can only be better than the last lump of shite!
I lost both my parents ( Neglegent I know, but unplanned).
Was strapped up for 5 months after my shoulder operation, but that works great now.
The upside was my daughter finally getting engaged ( they have been together ten years!)

We have four weddings to go to this year, just waiting to find out about the funeral.
