This is in an exhibit at that.
He's on duty in St Mère Eglise.
This is where paratrooper got hung up on steeple. There a manikin on the steeple to reconstruct the event.
Apparently great show and a whole tented camp of US troops.

Top one I don't know but looks a strange design, the unit on top is most likely I/F or thermal imaging.
Bottom one is a long barrel H&K MP5 with a tactical scope (Prob 4x zoom used as a general combat weapon) bipod is for show as wouldn't be fitted in normal use. And that picanniny rail is a little OTT
