Just woken from a short nap so venturing out to the garage to finish the job...big reveal later, try to contain your excitement........

I might even include a picture of my very battered finger, blooming hole cutter jammed and spun the power drill through about one and a half revolutions. Could and probably should have been much worse. Still sore though.

And here it is....made entirely from scraps of timber and fastenings in the workshop......didn't cost a bean. Pretty much all the timber was left over from the magnificent bike store I built for my son.

Note the mezzanine floor and air ventilation system.

Also the big overhang on the felt to protect the entrance.

The creases in the felt are my son's fault as he didn't know you shouldn't fold roofing felt for storage.

Rustic. Still plenty of time to finesse it ready for Autumn when hedgehogs are ready to hibernate.

Whatever it is it’s poorly made, I am far from the worlds best diy’er but if I’d made that I’d burn it.

Best advice. Don't give up your day job, Andy. Oh....too late! You have given up your day job! You play a musical instrument?

its not bad at all

what is it ? :D

Seriously I do question the use of plastic screw blocks in something designed as a home for some animal but apart from that its not a bad bit of work at all
