GPS - any thoughts on.........

How big are these units compared to the Garmin V and which is better?
I was looking at a PDA but think it may be too difficult to mount.

There are two def camps on here.. the majority use and swear by proper GPS units, but there is a strong lobby for the PDA option too.

To answer your question, the Pilot ( in any of its guises ) is about 3 to 4 times bigger overal than than the V.

I have been looking to upgrade my own V for a while and did look seriously at the PDA option.
Whilst I love the Tom Tom software, and the displays are great, the mounting issues, water proof issues and worst of all the inherent delacate nature of PDA's made me chose to stick with a proper GPS.
I also decided to stick with Garmon, and have been doing some bidding and looking at the Quest.
