I found out today that I have won a pair of tickets for Live 8 in Hyde park...

Yeeeee Haaaaaaaa !!!!!

Also found out that my fave band Pink Floyd have reformed for the gig...

Two good things in one day...

My son(Paul) reckons I will give him the tickets........

Nay feckin chance (as they say north of the border...LOL)

Anyone else got any ???

Surely I cant be the only winning

Not unless there is another auction site... Ebay has refused to allow them to be listed... It seems they reckon its actually ILLEGAL to sell them somehow....Dont know how, but it was on Jeremy Vines show the other day on R2...

But having checked, there are loads listed....Could be fakes though, as no one knows shat they look like yet..

boy am i kicking mesen(as they say down ere in somerset). i didn't even bother to enter as i thought it was for single tickets and the chances of both me and chris getting one was pretty remote and then i see they were giving them away in pairs :bang:
and the chances of seeing the floyd back together again double :bang: :bang: .

Apparently Ebay are allowing the tickets to be sold and they are donating the percentage they make from them to live aid :yo:

After complaints from Bob geldoff, Ebay have now decided to ban the sale of the live 8 tickets, which is a bad move,
these people are still going to sell their tickets via free ads etc, at least when ebay allowed the sale they promised to donate the percentage they made to live aid, now live aid will not benefit from the sale of these tickets, and when you consider these tickets were reaching upwards of ?1000, they stand to lose a lot of money.
