Hi Dylan, off in just over half an hour to meet with one of the crew, then south to rendezvous with Freebird and meeting with the other miscreant on the coast this evening - poor bugger has to work today:violin:.

Ride Out - Men Only!
While Freebird, Jamesy and the rest of the Southern Softees are on their sunny little jaunt “down under”
us real men Oop North will be gaddin about in the cold at Oulton Park tomorrow.

In a moment of madness (the sun has been brightening the ice-blue but-freezing skies in the mornings, recently) I booked a place without contemplating the fact that the old Gixxer hasn’t turned a wheel in months!
Got home – started her up – and went for a shake-down ride over the ice (no - really!). And it was shaky, too.-( Climbing off the BB and onto a more (ahem!) sports-orientated machine came as something of a shock to the system.
I mean, they’re so wobbly, aren’t they? Especially if the road curves slightly. :blush:

Stunning weekend round East Cape, covering 1346 km for me and about another 100 km for Freebird. The Street Triple wasn't too bad on the butt, but I think an Airhawk pneumatic bum pad might be the order of the day when we do the 1000 miles in 24 hours ride later in the year!
Of that 1356 km, at least 75% would have been twisties and we would have seen one other vehicle every 10kms or so for much of the ride - it was that deserted - pure magic! Just about got my head taken off by a hawk with a wingspan well over a metre but other than that, no incidents. Maybe a bit hot for black leathers (30 degeees or so) but mustn't complain. Hahaha! Dylan, you know full well that the girls are just glad to see the back of us for a few days so they can do stuff they'd never do when we're around! We were only just talking about that on the ride:-0):-0)
