Givi wingrack transfer

I need to graft my Givi 'wingrack' system from my old GSX1100F on to my new Blackbird. I dont want to have to buy a new set-up because the stuff is very pricy (no money left after buying new Bird!).

So far as I can tell, the Givi wingrack is a modular system, so to achieve the switch simply requires two pairs of brackets (I think!). Does anyone know of a supplier who can supply the said 'brackets' separate from the entire system?

The only fly in the ointment is that the wingrack is a slightly older version to what is currently available, it still take the standard monokey boxes, but I'm not sure if the bracket mounting points on the rack are the same.

Any help much appreciated

Hiya...

..........As far as I am aware, givi supply fittings kits to any of their authorised dealers for sale to the general public... Consequently, any Givi dealer should be able to supply you with the correct fitting kit for your rack...

Alternatively, Kappa tend to use the older system of racking(but in plastic) so they may be worth giving a quick ring to.... (kappa is the buget/older design part of Givi- So I am led to believe)

Hope this is of help to you,

Good luck in your search,

best wishes,

When I transfered my Givi kit from my old VFR to the Bird it was simply a matter of getting the a new fitting kit from GIVI (basicaly a couple of brackets) - about 50 quid I think. Very easy.
Can't help about the new/old design though.
good hunting
