Givi Tail light Wiring

Afternoon chaps..

Have just bought a second hand Givi Top Box for the bird off Flea bay
It has the brake light kit fitted too which is nice.

Its an E460 with an E92 brake wiring kit fitted..

I've done a few searches but am coming up short...

Does anyone know where to hook the wiring up to on the bird.
the supplied cabling has 2 of the waterproof round push in type connectors on the end of the wiring for under the seat (a male and a female)
Would there be an exisiting corresponding connector under the seat ? or will I need to splice into the existing loom and hook up the opposing connectors so I can quickly remove the wiring should I remove the rack etc.

If someone could advise please on the best course of Action and wiring colours etc.

Many thanks...Dean

good looking AND modest
Hiya, Honda don't do intelligent things like loom connectors,:xm so it'll be a splice and remove to the back lights and indicators I'm afraid!!:dunno:

As above, splice. It possible to shorten the indicator stems, both the early style and the later >2002 style then you don't need give indicators or the hassle of refitting OE one's.

If you do a search on the site for alternative Givi indicators you should find the info.

Thanks for the replies

its just brake light I think on this model box.
I only have the Monorack too not the full wingrack so indicators aren't a need.

Do you have any ideas on wiring colours to splice into on the back light

Cheers..Dean

For easy access remove the seat and tail piece, You'll undo most of the tail piece bolts to fit the rack anyway.

Then you can easily connect to the wires at the back of one of the tail light bulb holders. You only need brake & earth.

I connected my givi lights via 2 pin tamiya style plug & socket (maplins)

carb bird the wiring has a connector before the tail light so you can dissconect as the tail light has it own wiring attached.
Fi tail light the wiring loom plugs directly into the tailbulb housing
so on both it is obviously the tail wires., as any bullet type connectors are to the indicators.
green/white
green
black
are the 3 you need
green/white is the brake light I believe
green tail
black earth
