I'm curious to see if amyone out there in Blackbird land has used GIVI soft saddlebags. I'd like opinions, photos, etc...because I'm not ready to dish out $900 US for Beetle bags.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,

Heres a pic of me last year touring France with my bags. They are massive to say the least and will carry more than you need for a couple of weeks touring. They are not 100% waterproof but I did ride through some rough weather and not a lot penitrated them. I also invested in a rack and a tail pack for a few extras.

Haven't used Givi bags, but i can honestly say that my Oxford strap on bags (in black, to suit the fastest colour bike) have been excellent and they are a dams sight cheaper than the Givi bags.

I use the oxford sport bags for the Scottish weather and haven't had any problems carried enough for me and the wife at high speed through torretial downpours and kept most stuff dry they also came with waterproof over bags but we never used them. In red to match the most beutiful and fastest of blackbirds naturally
