Givi luggage ... rack.

Have bought a couple of panniers 2nd hand, they're Givi E360(monokey) but I'm needing a rack. I dont like the idea of the wingrack as I think it looks a bit bulky.
Can anyone tell me if there's an alternative?
Here's what the fixings look like;-

Thanks in advance,

SW Motech racks.

SW Motech is really neat kit if a bit pricey compared with GIVI.

My best mate has it on his FJR1300. Its all easily removable with Zeus fasteners apart from a few small bits of brackets which you hardly notice.

Personally, I can take the wingrack off my bike in about ten minutes and if I only want a topbox on I also have a monorack which is very neat and comes off with just four bolts, and doesnt interfere with the indicators. Standard Bird indicators wont fit behind a wingrack, so you need smaller ones or use the (massive and ugly) ones that Givi make for the wingrack.

I'm not sure I would trust the SW Motech zeus fasteners to keep my heavily (over)loaded Girlfriends panniers (I usually only get half a top box for my stuff, am I alone?) on the bike at ahem Normal Crusing Altitude, officer, Honest!

Give me good old fashioned 8mm nuts and bolts every time!

Hope this helps you decide. Ebay is a great place to buy GIVI stuff, usually loads of it on there..and there is a specific fitting kit for the Bird for about 50 quid, so dont worry if its for any other bike, buy the rack and then get a new fitting kit for your bike.

Good Luck
Mike

givi.

ps if your not already, be aware of the difference in Givi top plates.
Monokey and Monolock use different mountings. Yours are monokey, same as mine.
