Halloween is approaching, anyone got any spooky stories, I have had a few spooky experiences, When we had our smallholding in Gawthorpe, my youngest daughter who was about 14 at the time had a friend rachael to stayone night, my wife washed the bedding put it on the line to dry then placed it on the bed Emma (my daughter) and Rachael slept top to toe, next morning my daughter asked who had written on the pillow case, I had a look and sure enought written in large bold letters was the name BERNARD this was written on the pillow case that Rachael used and was not on there before the kids went to bed Rachael was genuinely terrified.just before we sold the smallholding we repainted the hallway which was artexed in a fan design we used magnolia coloured pain, as the paint was drying my wife and I went shopping there was no one else in the house, when we arrived back from shopping in the fan design above the door there was a black indelible ink mark following the fan design there was another one just next to Emma's bedroom.

Talking of Halloween I'm renting the wife out for hauntings again this year I will of course give a reduction for BB members.
I've bought her one of those gorgon masks for normal scary appearances but if you want the full sh*t yer pants effect I'll ask her to take it off.

This brings me to my next experience, we moved to Netherton from gawthorpe, one afternoon i was sat on the settee my wife was in the kitchen and my kids were both at work I heard voices coming from upstairs I asked my wife if she said anything, she just said "oh you've heard it as well now" apparently she had heard it two or three times before. The same house had an enclosed back garden which could be approached via the kitchen, the outside door from the kitchen was upvc and to lock the door you had to lift the handle up before you could turn the key to lock it, I went out into the garden leaving the door open I had literally gone four steps when the door closed, I turned back and tried to open it, it was locked, I banged on the door after a few minutes my wife came down and opened the door she said " why did you lock it" I told her I didn't even shut it she informed me that she had to physically unlock the door with the key which was still on the inside, I asked her how she thought I could lock the door from the outside whilst the key was still in on the inside, no explanation.

If anyone has ever seen a programme called 'most haunted' you will know what is referred to as orbs for those that don't, they are little white lights that appear only on camera and cannot be seen by the human eye, and are supposed to be the souls of the dead,

A couple of months ago, at Wakefield prison we received a very high profile, prisoner who was in for killing two children, my duties one night were to observe him whilst he was in a camera'd cell. it was about 9, o clock in the evening, when the orderly officer came into the office, we both looked at the monitor and there were two orbs drifting about in the cell, they seemed to disappear through the back wall., I asked the orderly officer if he had seen them and he said " Yes what were they" when I explained he was gobsmacked.

on similar lines has anyone had any near death experiences where you did actually feel yourself drawn towards the light, would love to hear the stories. had experience of this when i was 14 nearly drowned.

Yes I died when I was 18 in a bike crash - I think from I read about it consequently that although there are obvious similarities and different levels of NDE every experience is unique. I'll tell you mine when we meet if you want.
