Off for a look round Germany on Friday for 10 days.. very much similar route to which BO tours went in June..Bike now sorted with New K-tech fork springs and K Tech rear shock now fitted, scott oiler with slipper block removed . running with single drip feed at the mo untill I can swap for a double...
Like magic carpet ride now

Averaging around 200 miles per day with a rest day in the middle on Wednesday wich I think is just enough to make sure you see some things along the way instaed of blasting by R#?

Ill put a screenie of the route up and if anyone has any info etc please shout up... :-0)

Like Robbo says, a detour up to the ring is worth a few hours, you wont be disappointed, mosel is great, very friendly, been there a few times, have a great time .

+1 on the Ring detour - worth it even to just wobble around for a couple of laps to see what it's like... And there's a great road from the Ring down to Cochem in the Mosel valley - shellgrip on the corners, superb views in the valley!

Back safe and sound and really enjoyed it ..

slight little skirmish when turning the bike round in a tight spot .. instead of making a safe upright 3 point turn, tried to make it in one, ran out of room, dabbed my foot down on gravel and over we went :bang:

pannier, mirror and brake lever took the hit .. got some scratches on the plastics so going to have to touch them up a tad as well.. soooo fuggin mad at myself for being so amature stupid ..

anyway, only pride hurt in the end so all was well.. sorting a few pics out and Ill post them up with a little report asap..

need a little red touch up paint if anyone has any for sale.. not sure of proper colour code so will go check ..
