Front brake discs.

Hi,
How much movement...float,should be allowed before replacement?is there any difference in Disc sizes between model years,etc?

Not sure on tolerance's on disc movement but the Carb and EFI models do have different disc this can be seen on Jaws Motorcycles on the Armstrong aftermarket wavy disc's

From memory the only critical measurement on front discs are how worn they are I.e. Thickness. Unless they are warped, which you will feel through the bike every time you brake.

Buggered if I know what the tolerance is, it will be in Haynes.........
