This weekend the Lionesses will take to the field, I think I'll be watching and cheering them on.
Elsewhere I read about an interesting debate that has taken place in Oz where there's apparently been a discussion about how national their "national" team is based on where their players actually play/work/live.
Some there thought that because six of the Australian players actually played for English team they shouldn't be in the Australian team!!!
Bit of a strange approach I thought.
But thinking on, if that applies it seems the next World Cup in the mens game could be a much simpler affair.
Forget the qualifiers and knock out stages.
Just go straight to a final between England and Saudi Arabia
