For about 3 years the residents of the houses of parliament proved what a bunch of pathetic self important money grabbing arseholes they were over brexit.. both sides just trying to look after their own pockets/arses
Now it is happening again over CV-19
Whilst I do not doubt, in hind sight, things could have gone better, all the opposition does is try to make pathetic points, all the time offering zero help
We really need to cull the fuckin lot of them and start again
An MP gets no more than £30,000 a year
No expenses
Accommodation supplied ( so no stupid 2nd house etc )
NO 2nd job or income from ANY source
B anned from holding an executive or board position of any company with a turnover greater than £100,000 p.a. for 5 years after being an MP
With those rules in place, it would ensure the people who wanted to be MPs would do it not for gain but because they genuinely wanted to represent the people
